How to make it yours

  1. Type your family name, for example THE MILLERS — up to 16 letters.
  2. Add the year your family began, for example 1948. Leave it blank if you would rather not.
  3. Enter the names by generation, one per line: grandparents first, then their children and partners, then the grandchildren.
  4. Check the preview once more, then add it to your cart.

How many names fit

  • Up to 60 names — and the price is the same whether you list 7 or 60.
  • The tree opens up as you add people: a smaller family sits in the branches, a large one spreads into family groups beneath the tree.
  • More than sixty names reads small on an 11 x 14. If your family is larger than that, write to us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it will still be readable.

The print itself

  • Museum-grade archival paper, 189 gsm, matte finish
  • Printed to order with pigment inks, for indoor use
  • Size 11 x 14 inches — a standard frame size, so a ready-made frame will fit
  • Frame is not included

Delivery

  • Your print goes to the press as soon as your order is placed
  • Allow 8 to 18 business days from order to doorstep, and up to 20 business days during the holiday season
  • Free U.S. shipping
  • Your print arrives carefully rolled in protective packaging, not flat
  • To flatten it, lay it face down on a clean surface and rest a heavy book on each corner for 12 to 24 hours before framing

Before you order

Personalized prints are made especially for you and go to the printer as soon as your order is placed, so orders are final sale. We print your words exactly as you type them. We cannot refund, replace or reprint an order because of a name or spelling that was entered incorrectly — the preview on this page shows you exactly what will be printed, so please read it carefully before you order. If your order has not reached the printer yet, we may still be able to cancel it; write to us straight away. We will replace or refund your order if it arrives damaged, if the wrong size ships, if there is a printing defect, or if the print does not match what you ordered. Contact us within 30 days of delivery with a photo and you will not need to send the item back.
