Personalize Your Product

Fifty questions to ask the woman who raised you — before the answers are only yours to remember.

Most of us mean to ask. Then the visit fills up with weather and grandchildren and who needs more coffee, and we drive home having learned nothing new. These cards fix that, one question at a time.

What you get

  • 50 question cards to print, 2.5 x 3.5 inches, in five sections: childhood, growing up, love and family, the world she lived through, and what she knows now
  • A blank card for the question only your family would think to ask
  • A label for the jar you keep them in
  • A one-page guide on how to use them without turning dinner into an interview

How it works

  1. The download link arrives with your order confirmation, right away
  2. Print at home on plain paper or card stock — 15 pages, US Letter, at Actual Size
  3. Cut along the dotted lines — four cards to a page, thirteen pages
  4. Put them in a jar where everyone can see them

Large, high-contrast type. Designed to be read across a kitchen table by someone who does not want to reach for her glasses.

Please note

This is a digital file. Nothing is shipped. You will need a printer, or a print shop that will run 15 pages for a few dollars.

For your family's own use. Please do not resell or redistribute.

A gift they'll keep forever

Adult daughter giving the Mom, I Want to Hear Your Story journal to her mother as a gift

For the moments that matter

A birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas - the gift that gets read aloud for years.

Just because

No reason needed. Some of the best answers come on an ordinary afternoon.

To start something the family keeps

Give it now and begin one page at a time. Their handwriting is the part no one can replace.

30-day refund or replacement - you keep the book, nothing to send back.

Questions before you order

Other memory journals list 300 questions. Why does this one have 143?
Because the number that matters is not how many questions a book asks - it is how many she actually finishes. This one is 203 pages for 143 questions, and 29 of them get a full two-page spread. A 154-page book with 325 questions gives her about half a page each. We would rather she answer 40 questions properly than leave 300 half-written.
Does she have to fill every page?
Not at all. One question a week is plenty, and skipping is built into how the book is written - not an apology for it.
What if she does not like to write much?
A sentence is a real answer. So is a list. The book says so on the first page.
Is it easy to write in?
Yes - large 13-14pt type, wide lines, and uncoated paper made for everyday pens.
When will it arrive?
Each book is printed to order just for you. Your estimated delivery date is shown at checkout.
Can I send it straight to her?
Yes. Enter her address as the shipping address at checkout and the book goes directly to her.
What if something is wrong with it?
Our 30-Day Promise: if it arrives damaged or misprinted - or you simply change your mind - email support@graceyears.com within 30 days for a replacement or full refund. You keep the book; there is nothing to ship back.
